Privacy Policy for ARK CAT ATTACK (HUAWEI AppGallery)

Moz the Tiger LLC ("Moz the Tiger," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use ARK CAT ATTACK (the "Game") on Android devices, including features provided through HUAWEI AppGallery, HMS Core, HUAWEI ID, Game Service, HUAWEI Drive, and Petal Ads.
By downloading or using the Game, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required by law, we will ask for it before the relevant processing occurs.
1. Summary
- The Game stores gameplay progress and preferences on your device.
- If you enable HUAWEI CLOUD saving and authorize HUAWEI ID, a copy of your game progress is stored in the Game's private application-data area in HUAWEI Drive.
- The Game uses Petal Ads to display banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded advertisements.
- Ads are non-personalized by default unless you choose personalized ads where that option is legally available.
- The Game does not request precise or approximate location permission.
- The Game does not currently process in-app purchases or collect payment or financial information.
- We do not operate a separate analytics system or developer-owned server that receives your game progress.
- We do not sell personal information for money.
2. Information Processed by the Game
A. Gameplay and settings data
The Game creates and stores information needed to provide its features, including:
- campaign progress, unlocked levels, stars, scores, records, lives, and unlocked paddle styles;
- Survival, Boss Rush, and Daily Challenge records;
- rescued-animal and broken-block statistics;
- language, sound, music, control, accessibility, and advertising preferences;
- cloud-save status, save version, and synchronization timestamps; and
- other information required to restore your current game state.
This information is normally stored locally on your device. It is not sent to Moz the Tiger's own servers because we do not operate a separate gameplay-data server for ARK CAT ATTACK.
B. HUAWEI ID and Game Service
If you authorize HUAWEI services, HUAWEI ID and Game Service may provide the Game with:
- a HUAWEI account or player identifier;
- a variable or service-specific device identifier;
- your Game Service display name;
- authentication and authorization tokens; and
- information indicating whether sign-in and cloud features are available.
To operate and secure game sign-in, Game Service may also process basic app information, app-usage information, device model and hardware information, system properties, and operating-system information.
We use this information only to sign you in, display the in-game welcome message, associate the correct cloud save with your account, and provide compatible HUAWEI game services. The Game does not request your email address, phone number, contacts, payment details, or physical address through HUAWEI ID.
Authentication credentials and tokens are handled through HMS Core and HUAWEI Account Kit. We do not operate a separate account database containing your HUAWEI password.
You can play without cloud synchronization if HUAWEI services are unavailable or you choose not to authorize them.
C. HUAWEI CLOUD and HUAWEI Drive saves
If you turn on HUAWEI CLOUD and grant the requested HUAWEI Drive permission, the Game uploads a JSON save file named `ark_cat_attack_save_v1.json` to the private `applicationData` area assigned to the Game in your HUAWEI Drive account.
The cloud save may contain the gameplay and settings information listed in Section 2(A), except that advertising consent is kept device-specific and is not imported from another device. The cloud file is used to synchronize progress, restore progress after reinstalling the Game, and resolve conflicts between device and cloud saves.
The Game requests access only to its own application-data area. It does not request access to browse your personal photos, documents, contacts, or unrelated HUAWEI Drive files.
D. Advertising information
The Game uses Petal Ads, provided by Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd. and its relevant regional affiliates, to display advertisements. Depending on your region, device settings, consent choice, and the type of ad requested, Petal Ads and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- advertising or device identifiers, including the Open Advertising Identifier (OAID), Open Device Identifier (ODID), and other variable device identifiers;
- device model and hardware information, screen resolution, operating system, language, and system settings;
- app name, package name, app version, app settings, running status, and basic app-usage information;
- network type, IP address or IP-derived region, carrier information, and connection information;
- ad requests, impressions, views, clicks, closures, completed rewarded ads, and other ad interactions;
- app start and exit times, usage frequency, and advertising-related diagnostics or error logs; and
- HUAWEI ID information available to Huawei, where permitted and applicable.
For ad delivery, attribution, security, and fraud prevention, the Petal Ads SDK may also process optional technical information depending on the device, operating-system restrictions, available permissions, and SDK operation. This can include available storage information; gyroscope, accelerometer, rotation-vector, magnetometer, and barometer data; and WLAN information such as Wi-Fi status, Wi-Fi parameters, SSID, and BSSID.
ARK CAT ATTACK does not request device location permission, and its Petal Ads requests are configured not to request location from the Game.
Petal Ads may still infer a general region from technical information such as an IP address or use location-related settings controlled at the device or Huawei-service level, as described in Huawei's own privacy statements.
E. Technical and service information
HMS Core and the Huawei services integrated into the Game may process limited technical information needed to provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot their services. This may include device type, operating-system version, app identifier, package name, API call status and time, network type, country or region, service error information, and device-security status.
The Game does not currently integrate a separate third-party analytics or crash-reporting service.
F. Notifications
The HUAWEI Push Kit library is included because it is a technical dependency of HUAWEI Drive Kit. ARK CAT ATTACK does not currently use Push Kit to send marketing notifications. On Android versions that require notification permission, notifications remain disabled unless permission is requested and granted.
3. How We Use Information
We and our service providers use the information described above to:
- operate the Game and remember your progress and preferences;
- authenticate HUAWEI users and provide Game Service features;
- synchronize and restore optional cloud saves;
- display, measure, limit, and troubleshoot advertisements;
- provide optional rewards after a rewarded advertisement is completed;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid advertising activity;
- maintain security, diagnose errors, and improve reliability;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms; and
- respond to privacy, support, or legal requests.
We do not use your cloud-save data to build advertising profiles.
4. Advertising Choices
The Game offers both personalized and non-personalized advertising settings where available.
- Non-personalized ads: Selected by default until you make a choice. These ads may still use limited information for contextual delivery, security, frequency control, fraud prevention, and measurement.
- Personalized ads: If you affirmatively choose this option, Petal Ads may use identifiers, account information available to Huawei, app activity, and ad interactions to select ads that may be more relevant to you.
- Rewarded ads: These are optional. You choose whether to watch them in exchange for an in-game benefit. The reward is granted only after the advertising provider reports successful completion.
- Interstitial and banner ads: These may appear at appropriate breaks, menus, or result screens and not during active gameplay.
You can change the Game's advertising preference at any time in Settings. You may also manage personalized advertising at the device or HUAWEI account level. Changing your preference does not remove advertisements; it changes whether they may be personalized.
If you are below the age at which you may legally consent to personalized advertising in your country or region, do not select personalized ads. A parent or legal guardian should manage this setting for a child.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis, information is processed under one or more of the following bases:
- Performance of a contract: to provide gameplay, sign-in, saved progress, and requested features.
- Consent: for personalized advertising, optional account authorization, or optional cloud synchronization where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already performed lawfully.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the Game secure and functional, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, provide non-personalized advertising, and understand basic service performance, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, accounting requirements, or enforcement obligations.
6. How Information Is Shared
Information may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
Huawei services
The Game uses HMS Core services supplied by Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd. and/or the applicable Huawei regional service provider, including:
- HUAWEI Account Kit and HUAWEI ID;
- HUAWEI Game Service;
- HUAWEI Drive Kit;
- HUAWEI Push Kit as a Drive Kit dependency; and
- Petal Ads Publisher Service.
Huawei processes information under its own service terms and privacy statements. Huawei may use service providers and advertising partners as explained in those statements.
Advertising partners
Petal Ads may disclose limited information to advertising demand partners, advertisers, measurement providers, fraud-prevention providers, and other advertising technology providers. The participating providers may vary by region and by the consent configuration selected in Petal Ads.
Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests; protect users, rights, safety, or property; investigate fraud or security incidents; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business transfers
If Moz the Tiger is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information associated with the Game may be transferred subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
7. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
Depending on the law where you live, allowing identifiers or activity information to be used for personalized advertising may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or a "sale" even when no money is exchanged for the information. You can opt out of personalized advertising in the Game by selecting Non-Personalized Ads in Settings. You can also enable Huawei's device-level option to disable personalized ads.
We do not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
8. Data Storage and International Transfers
Local gameplay data remains on your device unless you enable cloud synchronization.
Cloud-save and HUAWEI service information is processed in data centers selected by Huawei based on the service and your account country or region. Advertising information may also be processed by Huawei and participating advertising providers in other countries or regions. These locations may have different data-protection laws from your place of residence.
Where required, the relevant service provider uses recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, approved contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms. Please consult Huawei's applicable privacy statements for current regional storage and transfer details.
9. Data Retention
- Local gameplay data: Retained on your device until you use the Game's Delete Data option, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the Game. Device backups are disabled by the Game, although your device manufacturer may control other system-level behavior.
- Cloud-save data: Retained in the Game's private HUAWEI Drive application-data area while the file remains associated with your account. Turning cloud synchronization off stops future Game-initiated synchronization but may not automatically delete the existing cloud copy.
- Account and service information: Retained by Huawei according to the applicable Huawei service terms, your account settings, and legal requirements.
- Game Service information: According to Huawei's current Game Service documentation, HUAWEI ID information is deleted when the associated HUAWEI ID is deleted, while app information, device information, and a variable device identifier used for game sign-in may be retained for no more than five years.
- Drive technical information: According to Huawei's current Drive Kit documentation, app and device information used for service operation and maintenance may be retained for two years before anonymization; API information is retained for the applicable period configured for or required by the service.
- Advertising and technical information: Retained by Petal Ads and other providers for the periods stated in their privacy notices or as required for security, fraud prevention, billing, measurement, and legal compliance.
- Support and legal correspondence: If you contact us, we may retain the correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with law.
We may retain information longer where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When information is no longer needed, it will be deleted, de-identified, or handled as required by applicable law.
10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- know or access the personal information processed about you;
- request correction or deletion;
- obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising;
- appeal a refusal to act on a privacy request; and
- lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
You can exercise several choices directly:
- Use Settings > Delete Data to erase local Game progress and settings.
- Use Settings > Non-Personalized Ads to opt out of personalized advertising in the Game.
- Turn HUAWEI CLOUD off to stop future cloud synchronization.
- Manage or revoke the Game's HUAWEI ID authorization through your HUAWEI account settings.
- Use Huawei's privacy controls to manage advertising and Huawei-service data.
- Manage notification permission through Android system settings.
Deleting local data or turning HUAWEI CLOUD off does not necessarily delete an existing cloud-save file or information retained independently by Huawei. To request assistance with deleting or accessing data connected with the Game, contact us using the address in Section 16. You may also use Huawei's privacy-request tools for information controlled by Huawei.
We may need to verify your request before acting on it. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
11. Children's Privacy
ARK CAT ATTACK is a family-friendly, general-audience game. It is not specifically directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly to Moz the Tiger.
Children should use the Game only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Users who are below the age at which they can consent to data processing in their country or region must not enable personalized advertising themselves. Parents and guardians should select non-personalized ads and manage HUAWEI account, cloud, advertising, and device settings for the child.
If you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to applicable law, contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by the Game. For example, cloud saves use the private application-data scope provided by HUAWEI Drive, the Game limits the cloud-save format and size, and network services are provided through established HMS Core interfaces.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Third-Party Content and Links
Advertisements may link to third-party apps, stores, products, or websites. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third parties reached through an advertisement or external link.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where required, provide additional notice or request renewed consent. Your continued use of the Game after an update is subject to the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
